Affordable couples therapy in Austin
Therapy can be expensive. In fact, the most common fees for couples therapy that I see in Austin range from $150-200. And, of course, that’s steep when you think of seeing your couple’s therapist once a week. As an intern, I’ve been able to provide affordable therapy for couples and have also become familiar with other clinics and practices that provide low-cost services.
The following list might not be comprehensive list, but it is a list of places that I am familiar and comfortable with:

Location: Northwest Austin
Therapy Austin
Specialties: General couples issues.
Fees: $60
Location: Various, they have offices in both North and South Austin.
Samaritan Center
Specialties: General couples issues, but they only serve veterans.
Fee: Free for veteran!
Location: North Austin.
Austin Strong Relationship Building Center
Specialties: Varies by intern!
Fee: $40-60
Location: South Central Austin
Austin Center for Grief and Loss
Specialties: Grief and loss.
Fee: Varies based on income.
Location: North Central Austin.
Greater Austin YMCA
Specialties: General couples issues, but interests vary by clinician.
Fee: I think they vary, but the fees advertised on the website vary from $60-95.
Location: East, north, and central Austin.
Autonomy Therapy
Specialties: General couples issues.
Fee: $50 per session.
Location: North Austin.
Community Counseling and Wellness Center
Specialties: General couples issues.
Fee: Donation-based.
Location: San Marcos and Round Rock.

Fee: $80 with potential to adjust.
